Prep is the first year of school and provides the foundation for your child's education. From 2017, it is compulsory for Queensland children to undertake Prep prior to Year 1. Prep is a full-time program in primary schools and children attend Monday to Friday.
Prep is an essential key to your child’s success during their school career, socially, physically and academically. It is therefore imperative that your child attend school every day so that they can achieve to their highest potential and build a solid foundation on which to develop thinking and learning skills. Our staff look forward to getting to know you and your family. We trust we will all work together to provide a supportive and stimulating environment for your child.
Children must be 5 years of age by 30 June in the year they enrol.
To determine when your child can commence their Prep year, use the prep ready reckoner calculator.
You will find our enrolment forms on the enrolment page of this website. Alternatively you can collect hard copies from our school office. Please phone or email our administration staff if you require further information or to make an appointment for an interview. Early enrolment of children helps us to make clear decisions about classes for the new school year.
